Tony Vivaldi and Save A Vet Now

We meet Tony Vivaldi, a Vietnam vet, a retired banker, and a watercolor artist who, in 2019, inaugurated Save A Vet Now, an award winning nonprofit organization that is dedicated to veteran suicide awareness and prevention. Working with Wilmington’s Coastal Horizons, Save A Vet Now created the Veterans Outreach Program which provides Cape Fear veterans suffering with suicide ideation an opportunity to receive professional and discrete treatment without financial barriers. Tony talks to us about his military service, how he came to found Save A Vet Now, how his artwork sold at Blue Moon Gift Shops provides funds for this organization, and why this work is so important to veterans.
