Paul Abbe's Conversion Story

For our first March show, Carolina Catholic chats with Paul Abbe, Director of Adult Religious Education at St. Mark Catholic Church and a former Lutheran pastor who converted to Catholicism.

In this show, we learn about Paul’s upbringing in a devout Lutheran family in Iowa, his years in the United States Air Force, his work as a Lutheran pastor here in NC, and how his deep yearning for the truth of Christ led him to begin his journey home to the Catholic faith. In this fascinating interview, we learn about the reasons Paul began to challenge the pillars of the Reformation and how his deep study of Catholicism led him to the Catholic Church.
